My name is Mary, and I taught reading, writing and math to elementary students for almost 25 years. I have also taught Adult High School and G.E.D preparation. I am proud of being the Teacher of the Year at my school twice and was recognized by my county for my contributions to special education. I pride myself of my relationships with students and parents throughout my career.

      School has probably changed quite a bit since you attended.  I know I saw many changes during my career.  It is understandable that parents today don't know where to begin at times.  I believe in a targeted approach to instruction. Working on the missed skills in order to fill in the gaps that may exist so that students can move forward academically.
